Tifosi Tactical, launched in 2014, is back with a new line-up of tactical and shooting sports eyewear. Premiering at SHOT Show 2015, Tifosi Tactical has added more frame and lens designs to its existing ANSI Z87.1 rated eyewear collection, including the new Talos and Ordnance models.
The new Talos and Ordnance feature an open shield lens design for a clear range of vision, reduced fogging, and lightweight comfort for all day use. Like all Tifosi Tactical eyewear, the frames and lenses are rated for Public Safety and Shooting Sports and meet or exceed ANSI Z87.1 safety standards for:
- Impact, both the frame and the lenses
- Optical Clarity
- Eye Coverage
The Talos features adjustable arms and nose pieces for a custom fit, while the Ordnance features a more streamlined lens cut and adjustable arms. In addition, both models’ nose pads and arms feature hydrophilic rubber that grips through sweat. The frames are molded from Grilamid TR-90 NZZ, a flexible and virtually indestructible material characterized by an extremely high alternative bending strength, low density and high resistance to chemical and UV damage.
The Talos Tactical and Ordnance are available with a non-reflective Matte Black frame and include a set of 3 interchangeable lenses. The 3 interchangeable lenses include:
- Smoke – a multi-purpose lens, works well in bright sunny conditions.
- HC (High Contrast Red) – sharpens contrast and works well in overcast conditions
- Clear – for indoor or low light conditions
